The soccer schedule was released yesterday. This article makes reference to a change in the post-season tournament format. Last year's regular season champion is no longer designated at the host team. The field is expanded from 4 to 6, the top 2 seeds get a bye and will each host 2 games. The highest remaining seed will then host the championship match. I wonder if similar format changes will be made for volleyball and softball, as the prior format for both called for the prior year regular season champion to host the post-season tournament.

I doubt the other sports change format. This change seems to be due to the tournament now taking place over two weekends. This format will allow two more teams to participate without increasing travel costs for everyone else.
If they had kept the whole tournament with one host then you could wind up with something like Denver and ORU flying home from the Dakotas after the semis only to fly back for a neutral site title game a week later. That's a lot of money for a non-revenue sport.

The Lady Yotes have played excellent D the last two games holding Iowa State (who has beaten Michigan and Iowa) and the bunnies both to 0-0 ties. Those two teams have combined for 9 wins this season.
The Coyotes are headed the right direction and just need to crank up a little more offense!

The Lady Yotes have won their last 2 Summit League games to bring their conference record to 2-1-2 for 4th place. The top 6 of the 10 conference teams make the playoffs with the winner getting an automatic bid to the NCAA national tournament.
Keep rolling Coyotes!!
