We looked like a competent team today. Happy to see the boys had a little fight in them.

Well they didn't score 64 points today! Great team win in all phases!
Great stand by D after 1st Q turnover holding them to 3. D had 3 sacks to their 0 (thanks to O line and quick decisions by Bouman who completed 70% of his passes and solid run game).
Great mix of pass and run with some new formations.
I knew this team would fight and scrap and they did!!

Ok naysayers, trolls you've had time to digest the Yotes win against Missouri State. Why are you silent?
Not only did the Coyotes win but did so with several new injuries on O and D showing good depth.

It’s a good win and I’m proud of the team; but this game does not change my opinions on the season and changes that need to take place. Beating a bad Missouri state team is something that we should be doing at home regardless . We can talk more on if my opinions have shifted if we beat UND or UNI.

Well I don't know how you judge a team is bad? Strictly W-L record?
Did you know early in season after 2 wins lost to #10 Arkansas by 11, SDSU by 14, were ranked 5th in FCS poll for several weeks, are coached by Bobby Petrino whose college record is 135-71 including stints at Louisville and Arkansas and was HC of the Atlanta for 13 games? Oh their QB Shelly (just to name 1 player is pretty good too). Was MVFC Offensive POY in 2021 and had school record 3347 yds passing and previously started 5 games for Utah.
So there's always more than record when judging a team.

Very fun team to watch yesterday. Where was that defense last week? Excellent job of containing a very talented athlete in Missouri State’s QB and some very talented WRs. Extremely impressed with the DL with some guys we haven’t seen much of. Lots to build on in my opinion.
Nice job of spreading the ball around and interesting when you get the ball in the hands of the WRs that can make plays. Very impressed with the poise and ball control by the QB on the deeper balls. Put it catchable and let your WRs make a play. By the way, that was a helluva an adjustment and catch by Bell that they ruled incomplete. OL did a great protecting the QB.

Not at all, they have the ability to run away with it. However again this was a game against a similar situation team that we should be winning regardless at home. It’s not really an upset win for the bottom half of the conference to beat up on each other.
