It appears the exodus has begun - Carson Camp is leaving apparently.
“ I have appreciated my time at USD. However, I have officially entered my name in the transfer portal. I am looking to pursue my football career elsewhere.
-Started 22 games (Played as true freshman)
-2 years of eligibility + Redshirt year available ”

I'm sure Camp is very ready for a clean start elsewhere. I would have been a bit confused if he stuck around honestly.

I wish him the best as well. He's a good kid, and quite frankly a decent quarterback. Something happened that deeply affected his play this year at USD and hopefully some new scenery is what he needs to be more successful on the field. Thanks for being a Coyote, Carson.

He handled the situation this year with nothing but absolute class. As the deliverer of my all-time favorite moment as a USD fan, I wish him nothing but the best. Thank you Carson.

Yep, I expected this one and would have been shocked if he stayed. Good luck to Carson and hope he lands in a good spot.

Will be interesting to see what positions we get bolstered by the portal. Hopefully pass rush, WR depth and OL.
