I agree with the money game and two cupcakes. What many of us on this forum are calling cupcakes may not be to the rest of the country. Lamar 3-1 in the Southland Conference only loss to Incarnate Word unbeaten Southland. St Thomas 5-1 in the Pioneer League only loss to Drake unbeaten in the Pioneer. I know Pioneer is non scholarship. Still the # 2 team 8 games into the season from 2 different FCS conferences. Again it shows the strength of the MVFC. Today should be a good game with two good football teams. Low 60's, partly cloudy, perfect football weather.

Playing a money game and two cupcakes is exactly what we should be doing this year, and any other year that we are members of the MVFC. Our strength-of-schedule is plenty difficult without playing Big Sky opponents on top of all the Valley teams. Last year was a perfect example of what we should NOT be doing with our non-con. This Coyote team is amazing, and we should be celebrating that instead of crying over not getting a top-8 seed (which we might still get anyway) JMO I'm not saying we aren't a good team. We definitely are and I'm enjoying the ride as much as the next fan. I'm just saying anyone who ever had us ranked #4 in the country was drinking some spiked kool-aid. We have a chance to prove something the next few weeks.

I hope we shake off last week and come out and be the team we're capable of being. If we play our best and still lose then I guess I can live with that but if we shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties and turnovers then that's something else. We have three games to prove ourselves or prove where we still need improvement.

We have a chance to prove something the next few weeks. The rankings were a function of being undefeated against FCS competition, a win in Fargo, a home win against a ranked YSU team, and loss to a ranked FBS team. They were a snapshot in time. Losing big to the #1 team who are the defending champs, have a ton of seniors and super seniors, and who are on a long winning streak doesn’t ruin a season or invalidate a ranking. Yes it was our rival and it was unfortunate, but not inconceivable. This is a new week and a new chance to get back on track. I have heard 28 should be back 100%,m. Hopefully he provides a spark to our run game today.

I really don't like the playcalling too start. Then again I'm not getting payed to do it. Run right into their strength 2 times setting up an incompletion on 3rd and long. It's like shlafke was back for the opening series. We're not going to impose our will on this team up front. We'll need to win through the air.
On the flip side. Our d line looks good

He is going to do it all day. Only our 12th season in the conference. Funnily enough, the color guy is saying it right.
Why is the production so bad out east? Feels like every single game in Illinois/Indiana/Ohio is just terrible. I would have a better time following this game if they'd just mount a camera on the press box at the 50.

Man… Bouman is as big as Josh Allen, I wish he was as mobile too!

Just a slog of a game. Neither team is finding much in the air, and anything on the ground isn't going far either. 7-0 lead at halftime. Another score might just win it.

Not a great one to watch for sure. Neither team can capitalize on opportunities. Not sure if it's great defense or really bad offense. Probably a combination of the two. Every time we start moving the ball we self destruct around mid field

This just in.....targeting calls are ruining football. Terrible. I don't know how you are supposed to play defense anymore. They need to revisit the rules.

Targeting has got to be the worst rule in college football. So unevenly applied. Potentially crippling ramifications for seemingly minor infractions. Absolutely hate it.

I do not understand the targeting rules. What is going on?
