The fact that they're only down 15 with Larkins, Duffney and Holmes at 2-for-20 from the floor is a bit of a moral victory, I guess.

They are impressive on offense. They move the ball well and move without the ball well. Have to limit them to one and done. Too many o boards for a team that good on offense. We had good luck getting into Nat in the post.

It doesn’t seem like we know what we want to accomplish on the offensive end. These missed 3’s, especially the early possession 3’s are leading to so many run outs and we are having a very difficult time getting back in transition.

Our 3 pt shooting is starting to be a concern.

I’d be more concerned about the 3’s if we were missing good looks. Not sure I’d call many of these good looks so far. Lots of contested and rushed looks.

The choices we are making on the threes are terrible. It’s like we are out there thinking we have to shoot a three. Shooting a deep three 5 seconds into the shot clock is probably not in our best interest.

Looking much more purposeful on offense.

Yotes came within 10 for a few seconds, now down 13 midway through the 3rd quarter.

I didn't watch it but looking at the box it seems outside of DePerry there wasn't much great happening.
Creighton's really good, obviously. That's a team that would give any USD team ever a game, so there's that. And the second and fourth quarters were OK, although I'm not a real big believer in playing even with somebody as a great sign after you've you've laid an egg in the previous quarter ... but you gotta start somewhere. Getting smacked early was what I was worried about. Wayne and Northern just aren't going to get you ready for a Top-25 team and it's going to take a bit to find your sea legs. That seems to have been what happened.
Live and learn. Watch some film and move forward. It shouldn't get any tougher than that all season long.

Creighton will probably be one of our toughest opponents this season and very athletic. Our defense looked out of whack. It was a back door festival and a raining 3s parade early. We were constantly scrambling. Probably unprepared for change from our previous games to a legit D1 team. I would like to see more movement both ball and off the ball. But that’s me. We definitely have many things to improve on and should have some good (or not so good) game tape to look at. On to the next game!

It's asking a lot of our current squad to go in and play that game. Akin to asking our football team to play Oklahoma. I didn't see it either but it sounds like we have a lot of work to do. If we aren't any better defensively it will be another long season.
