“When I got to South Dakota and I started meeting with their coaches, I just felt an immediate connection with those coaches. The guys that hosted me on my visit are still some of my best friends to this day, so I felt an immediate connection to the program...after I took that visit, I ended up committing. I didn’t take another visit, because I was so excited about that opportunity. I was just so excited about the connection I felt with the people there, the program in general…just the opportunity to go in and try to continue to change a culture, build a culture, build a winning program, and that’s what we ended up doing.”
