Did Bouman go down at the end of the game? The passing game looked good today! Took an obvious shot to the ribs. He wears a flack jacket so hopefully nothing more than sore and bruised. I haven't seen anything more on it. |

Didn’t get to go in person, but I recall injuries to Theis, Bouman, Reid, and Erickson. Great game. I think this is the best I’ve ever seen the Yotes able to make adjustments mid game.

Bob said in the post game presser that the trainers were being overly cautious with the injuries. Didn't sound like he was concerned. Aidan said he just had the wind knocked out of him.

Great job by the Yotes taking care of business against a Valley team!! Great overall team win!
They could have listened to the hype--they're #4 and UNI is bad, but they didn't!!
Same thing with Youngstown on the road this week. Keep working Coyotes and getting better!!

It's still UNI, solid program. We beat them down. Bigger, faster, stronger across the board.
The conference comes down to USD, SDSU, NDSU. That's it.

Basically a perfect Dakota Days for me. Tremendous weather, beat UNI soundly, saw people I haven't seen in a while. We won by 25 but it felt like we should have won by a bit more.
Shortly before the game ended I shouted to "fire Farley". One of the UNI players turned to me and cheered. I was stunned. Exchanged further words to make sure I wasn't misunderstanding.
After the game I'm pretty sure I saw a cheerleader be proposed to on the field and she accepted. Completely mobbed by her fellow cheerleaders afterwards.
Yet another D Days to remember.

I thought UNI ran the score up 2 years ago I think we could easily scored 2 more touchdowns but Bob is not kind of a coach

I thought UNI ran the score up 2 years ago I think we could easily scored 2 more touchdowns but Bob is not kind of a coach To be fair, we were down 49-7 at half 2 years ago, and UNI scored 3 points in the 4th quarter. I don't think I would exactly call that running up the score. Very happy with the offense yesterday. Hoping none of these injuries turn out to be serious. State seems to be clicking on all cylinders now. |

OUTSTANDING game for everyone on Saturday. Very impressed all around with the poise across the board and multiple guys making plays on both sides of the ball. We are playing very fast on both offense and defense as well as special teams. Thought Bouman had his best game as a Yote so hope he can keep building off it. Congrats to the team for a wonderful display in front of a terrific crowd.

It looks like this was easily the most well attended D-Days game since after the west side renovations and COVID. It was just below the attendance numbers for the recent XDSU matchups. Building brick by brick!
