The actual act (I suppose I should say illeged act to avoid being accused of libel), which most seem to assume really happened, was extremely offensive and totally unjustitifiable. It was also not a part of the rivalry between SDSU and USD athletics. It was a tragic action between two individuals, only one of which was associated with one of the aforementioned universtities. It had nothing to do with either university. It was a private event and any public discussion, if any, should have been in a court of law, not the court of tasteless t-shirts! I am not claiming perfection, just requesting that that jabs, verbal or otherwise, be limited to topics which are germaine to the athletic rivalry itself. I will seek to honor that request in my words, posts, and actions. No, he is a public figure and that makes him free game. Was it something private, yes. But wasn't what Bill Clinton did private, and how did that turn out. Considering he works for a PUBLIC university, that stuff should be made public. Daugaard just said this week that employees of the state should have their contracts made public, why not legal statements? Also, if the private life is so private, why did DJ Strawberry have to be mocked so much for what his dad did, not what he did, during every ACC basketball game that he played? Sorry, that was free game, and the Beat State, Not Your Wife shirts, are far less offensive than anything done in the ACC...welcome to college sports. Its amazing that my good friend Fred Oien is still news on this board. Isn't there something more current that you rile on? How about the departure of TOB? I talked to Fred a few times since his retirement and he is enjoying his retirement. I doubt he takes time to read the bunnie board or any message board including this board.

Precisely why I brought up more recent news. We don't bag on individual players over here, they're college kids and shouldn't receive that kind of treatment, but I did ask how that game went last week against that team from the lowly Great West Conference.

The bunny board is doing a good enough job to ruin TOB's self esteem that I don't have to do it....

Yeah no crap! Reading all the crap really amazes me. Pages upon pages of posts calling for his and all the coaches heads.

I also always find it funny how all the state fans over on the bunny board brag all the time about all the members and all the thread and posts that are on there. The crap they post on there is just stupid. They have pages upon pages of talking about nothing basically.
Another thing I really think is funny is how they always say they don't worry about what is going on "down south." Look at their smack section. They have pages upon pages of threads and 90% of them are about the people from the south.

And did I say the Great West was lowly? I dont think so. When all the programs except USD are Big SKy bound, they surely have some merit. Did you catch the SDSU-Poly score from last week? Cal Poly has always been a pretty decent program. Did the yotes beat them last year and what are their chances for this year? From the SDSU game, Cal Poly can pass if they have too. So besides defending the triple option, there is a passing game to worry about.

Yeah no crap! Reading all the crap really amazes me. Pages upon pages of posts calling for his and all the coaches heads. Again, I have not called for any coaches heads. Why would I pay 500 bucks to be part of the MAD club. (Make a Difference) if I want to get rid of Stig or any of his assistants? Plus I have an endowment scholarship in my name since I donated all the money gifts. The income from the endowment goes where the need is greatest, which happens to be football right now. So SDSU is very dear to me and life goes on no matter what is said on the Coyote Fan board. As far as TOB, I was surprised with his decision. I do wish him the best. I think Coach Eric Eidness worked hard with TOB. TOB seemed to make the same mistakes over and over again. Sometimes solutions are hard to find. I will leave it at that.

Coming down south and to your message board is entertaining.

Nidaros, when we reference things here, like "the lowly Great West", I don't think we are talking about you and what you post. We are generalizing about what is said by your fan base over on your board. I know it's a smack section, but I'll say something not so smackish, you're not a bad poster, you actually bring something to the discussion over here. You're fine in my book.
I've read plenty of Jacks fans say the Great West is no good. The conference was only good when the 'SU's were in it, now that the U's are there it's gone downhill, etc.
FWIW, we lost to Cal Poly in a close game at home last year, but beat them out there in a close one the year before. Same year SDSU lost to them, I believe. I expect USD to go out there and win this year, and win the conference. SDSU got blown the h3ll out last week, though. Did not expect that to happen. A loss, yes, but not a thrashing. That's a sign of huge problems in Bunnyland.

That's a sign of huge problems in Bunnyland. Wishful thinking, I thought much the same thing during the John Austin era. Then you hired a guy like Ed Mierkort, who has turned it around despite a 4-7 season last year. What goes down often comes up. IE The Dow.

Nidaros, that is it. You crossed the line. There was no need to bring up The Dow! It's on haha. Just like Yote 53...I uggh that...well played, well played.
And Nidaros, I think it's safe to say you aren't a typical Bunny fan. You actually use reason.

And Nidaros, I think it's safe to say you aren't a typical Bunny fan. You actually use reason. The Jack board does include many of the Young and the Stupid who say illogical things like I thought and spoke about 50 years ago. This why there is page after page of stupid postings. I gotten a little smarter since then. I do have faith in Coach Stig, he is not a quitter and will get our guys to regroup this weekend. Thats why we pay him the small to medium bucks. I dont think there is a coach who loves his job more than Stig, so even though things look down right now, it will not stay down. The Dow is up 2.49 points by the way. Seems like there are six or seven Brandon Valley players on the squad, and BV has had some good teams in the recent past so maybe Sumner can turn it around. Watch out for Dale Moss, he has ability that was wasted on basketball IMO. BTW most of the active posters on this board are or seem to be 30 to 50 years in age. Where are the Young and The Stupid? (undergrads)They must all be getting an education which is good. Why am I posting here more than on the SDSUFANS.COM? I going to take a break.

I'd say the average age of this board is somewhere in the 30's.
I think we should put a GoYotes.net sign up at the student entrance/exit. That way when they are leaving at halftime they will see the sign and maybe logon and participate.

That's all you Yote 53. I don't have the money to pay USD's advertising cost for that, nor do I have the time to make a sign and drive to Verm and put it up lol.
