Just confirmed with KDLT that they are televising the SD v Cal Poly game Saturday. That is great news! Can any of the visiting Cal Poly posters comment on the quality of these broadcasts?

This will be only the 2nd game televised by KSBY (the Southern Utah game 2 weeks ago being the first). Cal Poly just signed a three year agreement this year with KSBY (local San Luis Obispo TV station) to televise 3 home games a year. So it is still a work in progress. The play by play and color commentator are the KSBY News Sports anchors and the SUU game was their first game. Like I said it is still a work in progress, but better than listening to the game on the radio or watching a bad video stream on the internet.

What about on line video of this game? Will it be on 'gopoly.com'? Is it free? I hope someone in the Mustang camp will fill me in on this. I live in Arizona now so I need some help. Thanks!
Go South Dakota! Go Coyotes! Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not enough talk about the game. My keys to a win. It's really very simple. Go out to California with alot of energy and go out with a purpose. If there is not a high energy level there will not be a win.
Many may disagree but I don't think the Yotes really played with all that much energy against UC Davis considering it was a home game compared to the usual effort of home games. Ed said on a P&D twitter that if the Yotes play about as well as they played against UC-Davis, maybe little better that the team will be in good shape. I completely disagree. USD scored primarily on plays that are not going to be normally expected to be available. They scored 2 of their touchdowns on a broken coverage and a deflected pick 6.
USD will need to play much better on offense to win, MUCH better. If USD goes out their and plays not to lose football like they did against Illinois State it will not result in a win. Hate to disappoint the traditionalist but if USD tries to run between the tackles in a power formation and does alot of run-run-pass it will be a long night. Playing the usual football game is not going to get it done. USD needs to do something special to win, not just ordinary football. I have no problem establishing the run but I want to see more passing on first down. Do what the defense does not expect. Especially with a struggling offense.
It will be apparent on TV after about 5:00 whether they Coyotes came to play. They didn't against Illinois State so we will see if they come out with more passion on Saturday. Nothing that I have heard or whitnessed in the past couple of weeks and past several years makes me believe that the Coyotes will play good football on Saturday. I will be pleasantly surprised to be wrong with this one but 31-7 Poly is about what I think we will see.

Didn't we beat them in SLO in 2009?

The win at Poly was one of the 2 road victories for the Yotes against FCS programs. No matter what happens in Poly I will be happy with any win because that would mean a championship and goal complete, or at least halfway completed with a share of the GWA title in the bank. If the Coyotes score touchdowns on 3 fluke plays and get outgained 450-200 that is fine by me because I care about one thing and that is a win or a loss. At the end of the day that is all that matters. How these last two road games go should and will shape how the entire season is viewed. Lose both it's a failure, win both is a definate success. Split and it's up in the air but if a Great West Title is not included I would have to say maybe a bit closer to the failure side of things considering the experienced players on the team.
There couldn't be a better time than this saturday to pull out a great road performance.
