Also, it depends if they keep renovating the Dome, build a new arena, and expand Dome seating. With those upgrades we'll be ahead of even NDSU since our building is on campus with equivalent seating packed into a tight building. You owe me one bottle of 7-Up. They also ran out of paper towels in the restrooms, so now I have nothing to wipe my monitor off with.

Your FargoDome is not that big of a deal. I wasn't that impressed when I was there and that was 15+ years ago. I'm sure it hasn't aged gracefully either. Still that same turf with the pinwheels too.

Maybe that was because of the fact you were there 15+ years ago. It was as spartan and antiseptic as the Metrodome back in those days. Contrary to your opinion, it has only gotten better over the years. Millions have been invested for improvements over the past decade. We will have new state-of-the-art turf next season. Next season the Dump will still have the rug, so don't go lording us over with that. New $1.5 million lighting system installed this summer. Team facilities (locker rooms, training, coaches offices) that put USD's to shame are also located there. I don't care how many seats you add to your dump, it will never hold a candle to the Fargodome. The only literal negatives of the place starting next year will be the lack of a team store and the blue seats. Everything else we have there will be right up with the best. And for the record, the Fargodome is on NDSU's campus. The FD being an off-campus stadium is one of the biggest lies perpetuated amongst Dakotas sports fans over the past 10 years.

Once we get the new arena, dome renovated & outdoor track / soccer facility, our facilities will be second to none and will all be centrally located & on campus.

FWIW, I like the FargoCenter(Dome). I have also attended games at Newman Field and left very impressed.

Comparing the Dakotadome to the Fargodome is really kind of pointless. The Dakotadome is a real dome of sorts with an inflatable roof and dome like top, well it was inflatable but not anymore. The Fargo dome really is and always has been more like an indoor football arena for outdoor football. The biggest think by far that I care about in a facility is the site lines. The Fargo dome sitelines appear to be good. The Dakotadome isn't bad either. I like a steep angle of pitch to the seating and if I remember correctly when I was at the FD in 1995 or 1996 it had a nice steep angle to the stands.
Bisonator what is your point coming in here and trashing the Dakotadome. Your beloved NDSU Bison now share all conference affiliations with South Dakota so by trashing The University of South Dakota (which is the oldest University in the Dakotas, so in essence everyone has always followed the Coyotes and you sure did building a dome) you are really only trashing NDSU and their affiliations.

The Dome should be compared to the UNI Dome, since that's exactly what USD is going for. Plus, in reference to no real mid-major powers in the area, while they may not be powers, let's not forget Northern Iowa and Creighton. Creighton may not be as good as they once were, but never count them out.

Better to strive to be more like the Panthers than the Bison anyways. The FargoDome is nothing more than an oversized Morton building.

It's not like you had any credibility in my book before anyway, so you're really not surprising me with anything you say anymore. If we're gonna make comparisons to modular buildings, I could write you an essay on your football palace, but I have a life to live.

bisonator,
what is your point in being here. All you have done is come on here and bad mouth our facility and community or whatever else you have tried to say. It's fair to say that it is unprovoked. I dont' know what you are trying to accomplish but it doesn't make much sense to me.
