Coyotefan?? You need to give it a REST!! A REAL fan supports their teams in good and tough times!! It's real easy to be a fan if your teams win all the time. Win all the time? how about just having a true winner just some of the time.

That doesn't happen at too many places coyotefan. All teams have off years every now and then. Even the big schools that have waaaaaaaaaaaaay more tradition of winning than the coyotes.

I am just talking about having a true winner just SOME of the time. Are we getting that from somewhere that I am unaware about.

If we were to keep up with NDSU in mens basketball we will be going to the NCAA tourney next year in mens basketball. If we were keeping up with SDSU we would be winning the women's summit league this year and making the playoffs is football next year. Are we doing any of this stuff. People think I am asking for way too much. I am just asking for one darn sport to show us something good, but apparently I am asking for way too much. I guess I should just be happy with the men being 3-15 in the Summit League, our Women to be 7-11 and our football team to be .500 or worse every year in a 5 team Great West. Sorry if I have too high of expectations for some of you. This whole fanbase is way too full of excuses and always have been. Why else would some of the programs be allowed to be very bad for years on end. Football and Women's Basketball are great examples. In D2 both programs were very bad in the 90's and next to nothing was ever done about it. That is why I am discouraged today. I see alot of patterns repeating themselves.

Discouraged today? Give me a day in the last 5 years you haven't been discouraged. Seriously. When teams deserve it I give out a ton of praise and attention to it. I give alot of attention to everything good or bad. 1) USD Women's Basketball 2008. I was almost the only one paying recognition to the team and all they accomplished. I remember that well. 2) USD Mens Basketball in 2010 when they won the Great West and got to the CIT tourney and played Creighton. During transition there have not been any other great moments tha t stand out other than maybe beating Minnesota in football but that was a one game exception to the rule and I gave plenty of praise in and around that game.

Highly doubt it.

Apparently you forgot about our track teams and how they have been the best sport throughout the transition, but yet you fail to recognize them what so ever apparently. Heck, USD even had someone go to nationals last year. Now that's success.

Do you realize that Western Ill has been a member of the conference since 1982 and has never been to the NCAA tourney? UMKC has been a member for quite a few yrs also and has never made it. Did you know that Northwestern of the big 10 has never been to an NCAA Tourney? Its not a cakewalk. I dont care what NDSU did. How easy has it been for them to get back? If youre going to pout every year the Coyotes dont make it, youre going to be whining an aweful lot.

Hmmm if that is truley the attitude of the majority of Coyote fans and alums than we are in big trouble. I am predicting that accountability will never be truley had at this school. When Sayler moves on and an insider is hired to replace him such as Yoteforever we will actually start losing ground on the so called peers instead of gain ground.

In what has truley been a season of false hope for USD sports our Women's team who looked so good earlier including the top RPI in the Summit by far has regressed as of late and are certainly not the best team in the Summit and now it doesn't even look close. NDSU wins 64-50. NDSU is not very good. USD is probably going to lose to SDSU to fall to 2-5 in the Summit. Ridiculous. Why is it everytime a team shows hope they fall flat on their face. Football, Volleyball and now Women's Basketball. There isn't a single program at this University that we can hang our hat on. A campus wide failure and something that needs addressed ASAP by Sayler. I think Women's Basketball will probably bounce back but who knows. They can't throw the ball in the ocean. Could it be they haven't regressed but instead are finally playing some real competition? An early season RPI means nothing if you don't play anyone. The weak non-conference schedule hurt your team. As usual you are overreacting. First thinking they were the best team in the league, now thinking the sky is falling and they are the worst. Get a grip on reality and you'll be much happier.

You don't care what NDSU is doing? You are the one that is always saying what they are doing and we should be like them in everything. You said numerous times this year about how great their football team was and how we need to be like them.

You all have short memories, we did beat State twice in Volleyball with a team that continues to improve. We have a female pole vaulter who has the 3rd best jump in D 1 and best in Summit and a freshman shotputter who will be one of the best in the country. Our women's basketball will, in the coming years, be very strong in the summit. Ryun will have 5 new players next year who will all make contributions. I am not as confident in the mens program.
