As a graduate of the business school way back when, there wasn't a lot of class and education regarding "small business". Maybe today is different. But 59 has a great idea, and one that should be coordinated between Sayler and Dean Keller.
I could envision this unfolding a couple of ways. One, having a group take this on as a project of writing up a business plan. That would include marketing and budgeting. The marketing portion is what you would want to listen to as the students themselves know why better than any others why they don't come to games.
The second idea would be in similar terms. That would be a competition among different groups within the B school that would compete for the best marketing plan. Maybe the winning group would get as a "business bonus" some sort of financial incentive such as reduced fees, free tickets, etc. that way there is the reward system setup for the best ideas.
Does anyone on here posting know Dean Keller very well? I would like to run this idea around him to see what he says. The B school has always been a friend to athletics.

I am "hell bent" on keeping this topic in the forefront of our posters, so another post to make the thread current. If the School of Education is where it belongs, that's fine I just remember the B school was always a strong supporter of Coyote athletics. Let's keep building a plan. I intend to introduce this concept to AD Sayler in a couple of weeks. Continue with the ideas
