You have a way of misreprenting what I have said in the past. I never said anything about wanting Williams or Houk gone. Get your facts straight. So it's being negative to suggest that Boots should play his bench more? You have a very broad scope of what is considered negativity. I believe in the philosophy of "if your going to critisize, have a solution". I try to live that for the most part.
I have a quetion in retrospect and 3 years from now maybe we will have a similar argument. several years ago before probably even half the people here were on message boards I suggested for USD to fire John Austin for the future of Coyote football. Many people considered that negativity, but to mean it's necessary for the betterment of the long term health of the program. When people look in retrospect nobody would have said after the fact that USD made the wrong decision in axing Austin. It was absolutely the right decision at the time. As a program we are not nearly at the point now of where we were with Austin at the helm. With that said I also didn't hear much support online of getting rid of Austin either. It was considered negativity. I consider having open minded conversations as being healthy and positive. It may not seem that way to staunch Ed supporters but there is nothing wrong with being candid. I believe at this time that USD would be better off going in a different direction. It's certainly debatable but I have explained in detail why I think how I do. I honestly try to look big picture in everything much the same as an outsider would come into and analyse a business to advise them on the positives, negatives and how to change for the better if change is needed at all. I just look at things objectively with no bias and no agenda one way or the other.
As far as the other sports I am generally not going to invest much of my time into them because I don't care about them nearly as much. I wish them well and hope they do well but in all honesty I am not going to be going to many track and field events or many volleyball matches either. It's just not realistic to travel an hour for the second tier sports. I basically focus on football and mens basketball as co #1 for me and to a lesser extent women's basketball #3. Everything else takes a back seat, at least for now. It's just the way it is. It is the way it is for the majority of Yote fans as well. Generally the second tier sports are more for close friends and family and locals. Other than that the normal fan just isn't going to care nearly as much.
