Nah. I'm content with the Bison being on top for one more year. I hope the Jacks lose miserably.

Sorry to say this but cheering for the Jacks is the same as cheering against the Yotes IMO. The better the Jacks do the more they get the upper hand on the Yotes and the more they hold the recruiting advantage for instate and regional recruits.
I am going to make a prediction before I go into the football thread and I will not edit this post. Unfortunately I predict that every single coach will be retained for next season and the Yotes won't win more than 3 games and mainly because of that. I don't know if it has come out yet or not but that is my prediction.

I will also predict that Sayler will wan't changes in the coaching staff but Glenn will override Sayler and keep the coaching staff exactly the same.

I think I have to remind Coyotefan that this is the smack section....so Jackl was well within his right since his team is getting bashed....bashed like the fourth quarter against Montana. And Coyotefan, that mirrors what I heard from a coach this year after their rival ran up the score...and I really think that coach has the upper hand next year. What coach/game? Rison and Fordyce down in Arkansas when Fordyce ran up the score. Rison is their rival and Clay Totty, Rison's coach literally said "We will rise again and will not be down for long."

I will continue to believe that those that compain that a score got run up on them are sore losers and just losers period. If SDSU wanted to score an extra touchdown good for them if that is what they wanted to do, maybe they wanted to get in an extra rep for someone in a red zone situation to get them ready for next week. I am not going to cry foul and if the Yotes cried foul I would think they would be weak. If you don't like it get better, period. If the Yotes were better than the Jacks I would want them to stomp all over them. The best way to ensure a team doesn't come back to beat them the next time around is to pretty much demoralize them as much as possible. Call it ruthless or whatever you want but it's not like the Jacks players would be taking cheap shots or punching guys or anything. They would be just playing out the game until the very end. So what.

CF, a common theme in all of your posts on here is that you have a very professional sports mentality. Running up the score, demoralizing your opponent, fire the coach, bench this guy, every post has a very pro feel to it. I just don't think you get how things are done in college, it's different. It's different because the mission is different. Pro sports is all about just win baby. College sports are about representing your school, building young men and women, instilling values in those kids.
Schools don't run up the score on other schools very often for several reasons. First among them is sportsmanship. More importantly, in this case, you can bury your rival today but it will come back to haunt you. The other school will rise up eventually and someday have their foot on your neck.
Win with honor.
