KS 257 1td 43% Weber 210 1td (off the hands of the defender into a different wr hands) 2 int 56% MST 337 1td 74% Uni 328 2td 1 int 72% Ysu 158 1 int 42% Total 1290 yards 5td 4 int 57% Against teams 500 or better Also conference games the ones that matter yes sir he has 6td . Can't disagree with facts. 3 of those against a 1-6 Siu team. So he has 3td against the other 3 conference teams he has faced that matters. Can't argue with that you want facts there they are. You've been on him since you registered a couple years ago. I'm sure if I went back to when Streveler was blowing games with his pick sixes that you didn't say anything negative about him. What's your suggestion for fixing things? You are right. I have been because of all the bs that was said about streveler. People said make him a receiver and put in Simmons because of his great arm. Well how's that working out? There is no difference with last years personnel except for the qb. The o line is the same with more experience. The receivers are better this year and the rbs have a year under their belt. So you tell me what the problem is. |

He would be at 56% passing, 8 TDs to 5 INTs. The conference games are the ones that matter the most. He's at 60.5% with 6 TDs to 3 INTs there. Maybe we could cherry pick further? Maybe we can whittle this down further until we just have the bad passes isolated and use it as proof that Simmons has no business under center? At what time is a QB change warranted? I believe there are other talented QB’s waiting for their chance. Do they deserve their chance at this point? Simmons didn't look great yesterday. On the year he is completing 59% of his passes, and has 12 TDs to 5 INTs. That is with the very limited protection he is getting. I don't think a change would help unless one of our backups has the intangible leadership quality in spades. Take out the UNC game. Only that game and what are his stats? Easy to blow up your stats against a horrible team. What are his stats against teams with a 500 or better record. I know o line sucks. You can include K State in those stats even though they are 3-4 |

Your right he didn't the o line didn't also. But why is it the o lines fault we lost and not his? Did they throw the int? Did they fumble? Did they fumble the kickoff? So I am inept how? Did I make this up? He was responsible for 14 of unis points what was the final score? Simmons had less than a second to react on the fumble. He got the snap and had to run for his life. The blocking was horrible. You're crazy if you think that's all on the QB... it was A screen that they run all the time it is catch and throw not catch hold and throw. What game you watching |

Which QB would you like to see at the helm? You obviously have a younger guy in mind, so let's hear who should be QB1. I've pretty much got your agenda narrowed down to 2 options. Option 1: your kid got beat out or is buried in the depth chart. We've seen that on this board a few times over the years. Option 2: you just plain don't understand the game. Simmons was the national player of the week last week. Here's my two cents... He sent me a pretty aggressive private message calling me an idiot for suggesting that he has a kid on the team.... then he admits that he does have a kid on the team and he plays defense and is "playing his ass off" only to lose because of the "underperforming qb". So I did some digging and found that he registered in July 2016 and he has been dumping on Simmons since his very first post. So why would a defensive player's dad be ragging on the same QB for 2 years? I won't name names, but we have a defensive player who was moved from QB to linebacker around the time he registered and started posting. Seems to me that he is that kid's father and he is STILL upset that his kid was moved instead of Simmons. I could be wrong, but it sure seems like more than just a coincidence. Lol we have Inspector Clouseau on our board. National player of the week thanks to the receivers nothing he did. When you have 3 tds off of 5 yard screens you look great. Keep digging inspector he is 1-2 no playoffs this year because he sticks to his 1st read and can't adjust if its not open. He runs out of the pocket because he is scared and clueless watch the game genius. |

Someone posted before start a younger qb so they get experience and still have more than 1 year to lead this team. Simmons is not as good as people think. I can tell you this any qb that is on this year's roster could of been 1-2 after 3 games. So we make excuses for the qb this year because its his first year then next year maybe make playoffs maybe not and the cycle starts over again. I can guarantee you this he is not better than any of the qbs on the roster. Its all the bs hype about his arm. He did nothing at ks and nothing tonight. But of course excuses excuses excuses. The ol played like crap but they didn't throw the balls in the ground or behind the receivers. |
