I've never seen a shooting performance like that at the college level. Can we play better? Of course. But not many teams are going to hang with a team shooting like that. We'll see how the 2nd half goes. Remember Oregon at South Dakota WNIT semis. |

For those that complain to those that choose to watch on TV here is the exact reason why. The program has a responsibility to up their level. They have underachieved quite badly in this tourney. The Coyotes did not put up much of a fight tonight and we're embarrassed in all three games vs the Jacks. Not good.

Coyotes barely have a pulse in the second half. I think when a team isn't very talented and over achieves quite a bit than they don't really have another level for the post season.

The bottom line is the Jacks have the players and the Coyotes simply don't. No strategy is going to turn around the talent difference. We need recruiting simple as that. The Jacks are hot sure but they tend to be more often then not. I wonder how many years it has been since they beat the Jacks in a conference post season tourney. The last time I can remember was in the late 90's or early 2000's in the ncc tourney in Omaha.

Not looking very good. I thought D was supposed to be a strength. All three games the Yotes have played the Ole defense. Gotta be much better. Jacks by 13 with 7 to go in first half.

Derrin Hansen was fired by Omaha after their first-round loss to NDSU in the SLT. He's been in Omaha forever and has a .500 record (give or take), but won only 10 games in the past two seasons. Probably a good move by them. He has probably just been there too long and it is time for a new voice. They are on a serious downward trajectory. |
