I caught Joey James on the "Calling All Sports" radio show yesterday. He said that Trey practiced with the team on Monday and Tuesday was mostly film sessions. He seemed to indicate that Trey will be ready for Thursday's game, but stated they won't rush him back if he isn't prepared to perform at a high level. It was an interesting interview. Coach James discussed Trey being the only actual point guard on the active roster. Bos, a combo guard, is the closest fit, and running him at the point hurts his offensive productivity, which we obviously rely on heavily. Accordingly, they've weighed pulling the redshirt on Rico Thompson, who would've suited up at the beginning of the year if not for a foot injury. It could still happen, but James is justifiably hesitant to do so given the short remaining schedule.

Hopefully, Trey is ready soon, the Yotes do miss him.
That's a point to be made in regards to another thread, as to what to make of the Yotes after the last 2 losses. One way to look at it is, the Yotes were 1 healthy point guard and a missed 3-pointer from sitting at 4-1 right now. Hey, I'm a realist, 3-2, and 0-2 on the road, but I still think our chances of being in the top 4 is greater than that of being in the bottom 4, just my opinion. We shall see......
