Wow, the ladies finished 10th beating LSU! That is pretty cool. Just think if the pole vaulter who won it stayed at USD instead of transferring to Texas we would have been in top 5 as a team. Congrats ladies and coaches.

Great job ladies and coaches!! Interesting to look at the list of teams and how they finished vs. the Lady Yotes--i.e. Coyotes 10th and Notre Dame 29th!!

3 entrants, 3 top 4's and 3 All-Americans. We just need a few more qualifiers and we'll be right at the top of the team standings! I'm guessing it's not that easy.
WELL DONE LADIES. You save your best for when it counts and you are making all of us very proud!
GO YOTES!

@rcjsports: Athlete of the Week: Chase Glazier of Custer High School t.co/1b8dcSJfIsI hope coaches have eyes on this future track star. Only an 8th grader and beating high school athletes at all levels with a state title already on the shelf and the top 800 time amongst 8th graders in the country! I'm sure coaches have it covered but anybody with the coaches ear may want to make sure they are on this one. Her mom is an SDSU grad and step-dad is a USD grad.

What am I missing? Considering her brother (I'm assuming) is coming to USD to play football I would assume Lucky has his eye on her

I don't understand why you linked to an older article showcasing the Glazier who is coming to USD this Fall, but I bet he puts in a good word about USD to his 8th grade relative.

A little late on this, but nice job at Howard Wood by the T & F teams. Especially Snyder and McKelvey, setting meet records in discus and shot put respectively. Go Yotes!

USD Men tie for first place in the Summit League Outdoor T & F championships. I didn't follow this super closely, but I believe it required quite a comeback. Well done- GO YOTES!

Great job by our coaches and athletes! Big come back today, and based on season-to-date performances, the Yotes were 30 to 40 poing under dogs going into the conference championship.
