Thread since Softball season starts tomorrow. What is everyone expecting this year?

On the drive to work today the thermometer said -11 degrees. Softball season starts tomorrow? Yet another reason to dump some of these warm weather programs and replace them with something we can be competitive in like men's and women's ice hockey.
As to the OP, I expect we might see our first outdoor home game by JUNE! If we are lucky.

I'm sure that SDSU didn't have a single home softball game last year.
I think that they had 2 home series in baseball. One against NDSU and I don't remember the other. I know that one if not both teams moved games to Sioux Falls, Sioux City and there might have been other places.

I think we should keep softball. Last year was just terrible with rain, but hopefully this year will be different.

Softball season starts up with the Yotes taking wins over Chatanooga and Kansas. Looks like we may have a pretty good team on our hands!

press releases are not copyrighted, as long as you credit the media relations/sports info department
