The conference slate continues at preseason favorite IPFW. I don't think that IPFW is as good as they were supposed to be, judging by their rather unimpressive non conference results and 1-2 start in the Summit. Regardless, no road game is easy and a win here would be a great one for us.
I hope smack talkin' Tyler Larson leads the Yotes to another lucky win!

Tied 22-22 with 6 to go in the half. IPFW big man Steve Forbes is having his way with us, we don't have a good answer for him at all. I paid for the Mastodon feed, these guys seem much more respectful and knowledgable than the Denver guy.

A series of lucky breaks has USD leading 59-56 with two minutes to go. But then Forbes comes back in and immediately gets a three point play to tie it up...

The Coyotes have won it 64-62 and are becoming serious road warriors. Is this the best road team in the Summit. A case can definately be made. Omaha who has been bad since beating the Coyotes had one lucky second half run to beat the Yotes otherwise we'd be 3-0. From what I have seen the Mavs definately played their best game in the conference against USD. But it doesn't matter because the Yotes are proving to be better all around then Omaha.
What is going on with Fort Wayne. They have lost twice at home and are definately not living up to a pre season conference favorite.
2-0 on the road, WOW.

Yotes win 64-62! My jaw about broke a hole through my floor when in the final seconds we were up by three and decided to foul to prevent the tying 3 pointer. IPFW player tries to draw the shooting foul by throwing up a half court shot that went right in, but thankfully the foul was called on the floor and the shot waved off.

If you haven't had the chance, listen to Craig Smith in the post-game interviews this season with Joe VanGor. This guy is a freaking stud. Listening to him right now and he's singing Brandon Bos' praises after reaching 1,000 points for his career tonight. He just told him he wished Brandon would have red-shirted! =) Great team effort tonight Coyotes. Everyone is stepping up and buying in to what Coach Smith and his staff have been working on. Good stuff, Beat NDSU, and Go Yotes!

I agree, Yotefan, listening to Smith is a pleasure. He knows the game very well, he is an outstanding person, and I am very glad to see him on our sideline.
