Since all are in high school, they are just verbals. Only juco and early enrollees can sign letters of intent already.

Weren't we all saying the same thing about Mason Ruiz around this time last year?

Fightsd, you are correct. I thought the same thing when I read Foothills College, but didn't Ruiz have some kind of a back issue that caused him to show up to camp behind the 8-ball in terms of strength and conditioning? I can't remember.

In other new, I wasn't sure where to put this, but I read this morning that Terry V. from the Argus is leaving for Sanford. He certainly did a great job for the Jacks and I'm sure will do great in his new endeavor.

I do believe he had some sort of lingering issue this season. But i also recall him playing some scrap minutes at the end of a game or two. Hard to say whether he was injured or not.

Maybe. But shouldn't we at least have a little confidence and hope at this time in the year?

The one thing I will say is this, Ruiz was generally thought of as a large DE, which is challenging to project. This guy is a giant space eating NT - something that we are in dire need of, in my opinion. I am hopeful on this one.
