Finally a home game for the Yotes. Can South Dakota make it a clean sweep of the pre season favorite Mastadons.

11-8 Coyotes with under 14:00 to go in the first half. IPFW is going inside to Forbes and he is having success so far. He is a load inside.

33-24 Fort Wayne at half. I can understand why the Yotes don't play well at home. The atmosphere was as flat as the team in that first half. The Yotes just don't have much energy tonight nor do they have any continuity on offense. It's pass it around and settle for a long jumper for most of the half. Whatever happen to this teams willingness to drive to the hoop and draw fouls. Sometimes the Yotes can look good but tonight is one of those nights where the team will have to use smoke and mirrors to win. For much of the season I thought that the Yotes were underrated when it came to the talent on the team. Tonight the Yotes do not look talented at all. Craig Smith has done a very good job with this team this year but they are playing horribly so far tonight. Hopefully like the women the men can respond with a much better second half.

44-35 Fort Wayne about 5:00 into the second half. No ground made up so far. It seems like the Yotes are starting to get some things figured out on offense but they haven't stopped the Dons often enough to gain ground.

52-39 Fort Wayne with 9:00 to go. The Yotes just don't have it at all tonight. This is two very bad games in a row so far. It's going to be a team on a slump without a major comeback tonight.

Fort Wayne now leads by 17 points with under 4:00 to go. This is going to be a very very disappointing loss. Where is the heart from this team for 2 games in a row now. The Yotes have lost and played badly for 3 out of 4 now. All double digit losses. It's time for a gut check. Ya just can't lose to 2 bad teams at home in Omaha and Fort Wayne. That completely takes away the advantages of winning on the road.

Not sure what happened tonight. No defense, no energy. On the other hand I think IPFW might be back to what they were supposed to be.

Final
Fort Wayne 65 South Dakota 55
Teams have seemingly figured out how to stop this South Dakota team on offense.

Not sure where you saw a team willing to drive to the hoop. Right now we live and die by the jump shot. Last two games we have missed shots. Hunter has been better but still our guards struggle to get to the rim. In my opinion teams are really packing it in and starting to make USD shoot contested jumpers all night

CF, for the love of god stop criticizing fan involvement. One who never comes out to support the team has no ground to stand on.

Attendance was 1526 last night, yikes! I thought our shot selection was doodoo when IPFW made their run at the end of the first half. As others have mentioned, it was all jump shots. Also, this is starting to be a recurring theme, but Bos takes alot of shots where he is leaning or fading. I know by default he is the guy with the ball in his hands as the shot clock is winding down so I do not really blame him or hold it against him. Its just frustrating that we consistently settle for that game after game, when its clearly a low percentage shot for him, or anyone for that matter. For an easier, more broad "analysis", we shot very poorly from the outside and Forbes was an absolute beast down low again, he is surprisingly agile for a creature of his size. That is all my friends.

To sum things up, I offer the following.
When asked about how his basketball team was doing, the coach replied "we have a lot of good outside shooters... trouble is, we play inside".
