Last year the Golden Eagles were the Coyotes downfall in Tulsa last year. It wasn't pretty. A little better so far this year as the Coyotes are ahead 17-14 with 7:00 to go in the half.

It could be turning into "one of those nights" for Coyote basketball. The Yotes were ahead by 6 just before half but ORU rallied and hit a banked in three at the buzzer to take a 29-27 lead into the half. The offense has obviously been out of sync. Please Yotes lets pull this one out and salvage something for the night for USD.

It's been a struggle but the Coyotes do lead 42-38 after the 3rd quarter. Lets grit this one out.

50-45 Oral Roberts with 5:39 to go. Unbelievable.

Awful loss. Just terrible. Seriously, what was that? Supposed to be one of the best scoring teams in the Summit and can't even break 60 points?

I believe the final was 60-56. This performance is pure bulls**t. The Coyotes are led by mostly seniors that are the big contributors and come into ORU and lay an egg for a second year in a row. 28% from the floor tonight. There is no way, I mean no way the Coyotes should lose this game. What a season for basketball so far. Of the 5 games between the men and women 3 of them have been absolutely poor, poor performances. This is not what we had envisioned the start to the Summit League for either team. The Men losing to IPFW tonight is one thing but the Women have absolutely no excuses. They will probably never be in first place the rest of the year. They have to play in Frost before Vermillion and I don't see that being a win so somehow the Jacks will have to lose where they shouldn't and that may not happen. Get ready for the 2nd seed this year because that is exactly what we are looking at.
Tonight for Coyote basketball was an absolute night mare.
Imagine what next year will be like losing Seekamp, McCloud, Hemiller, Stewart and Hoff. Amy Williams will be tested to the max next year and if we don't get it going the window may close for a year or two.

Deep breath fellas. Albeit a really bad loss, alot of season left. I thought maybe the first half of Denver might be an eye opener for this team, but I guess not. This, however, should do it. Cant imagine the fumes from Amy in the locker room after this one. On to the Mavs for both teams.
