Pretty good start for the Yotes as they lead 24-18 after 1 quarter. Good overall energy for the Coyotes. Somehow the Coyotes have a Tia Hemmler according to the Leathernecks announcer.

Western cuts it to 1 but the Coyotes respond with a 14-0 run. Fogg is putting in some good minutes again tonight. 42-26 in the 2nd quarter.

50-34 Coyotes at half. Good desire by red in this one. Playing fast, playing hard and in the Leathernecks faces. Western Illinois is taking some very bad shots and hitting a few three pointers. Western's ideal possession is to pass in to a perimeter player and that player will shoot the ball as fast as possible as if the ball was a hot potato. They are firing up some awful shots and they are probably lucky to have made more of them then they deserve to make. Some of their shots are air balling or barely drawing iron. I hope that strategy continues as they are barely running an offense. Now this is the way we need the Coyotes to be playing. They are looking like the confident defending conference champion Yotes for sure. If this play continues I will continue to point to Seekamp's buzzer beating tying jumper against NDSU to be the turning point of the season. If the Yotes keep up this play the Necks can't touch us.

The Coyotes have 4 different players on the court according to the Western announcer. I wonder if any of them have any eligibility next year.
Hee-miller Hemmler Hemm-Miller Heemler
Ooop now we have a Liveringhausen as well.

Amongst all the name butchering and whichever Coyotes version is out there with all these names they have suddenly extended the lead to 22.

My favorite from this year was ORU's announcer saying Tyler HAGE-dorn (like AGE) How are the other aspects of their webcast in comparison to GoYotes.com?

76-59 Coyotes. I supposed for Western they are in hail mary range but they will need to pull an Erin Rodgers to get the win tonight.

The game is on ESPN 3 so I am not sure whether this is the regular Leathernecks webcast or not. For awhile it was crystal clear and smooth but lately it has been having trouble refreshing but that might be my problem having too many things open at once.

If you think attendance is bad in the Dome just tune into a road game. It's pretty sad.

I am impressed with the Coyotes performance in winning 102-77. They never took the pedal from the metal. So now the team in 7-1 in the Summit. The best 4 conference performances were all in the last 4 games. For Western Illinois they decided to play some rather loose defense and had a big number thrown up on them. Seekamp got the Coyotes out of their slump with huge shots against NDSU and SDSU and now the rest of the team is gaining confidence as well. Nicole leads by example and to a large point her play has lifted this entire team to a new level.
Very impressive tonight Yotes, very impressive.
