There is no video for the game unless you want to pay for the video at the Mavericks website. Last year that Coyotes actually won at Omaha after losing to them at home prior to the win. Considering how both teams are playing it certainly doesn't appear as if the Coyotes are going to have as much luck this time around. If Omaha wants to put on the press make them pay and pay hard. Break that sucker and go hard to the rim with a rim rocking dunk. A couple of those and Omaha won't have as much fun pressing the Yotes. The best way to stop a press from happening is to attack it with vigor and get easy baskets after breaking it.
Maybe the Coyotes will surprise but I am going to have to go with 90-76 Mavericks.

As poorly as conference play has gone a win tonight would be big. It would be a win over a team currently tied for first and get us back to tied for 6th in the Summit. We had this team beat handily in the Dome before the entire thing fell apart, it's not unreasonable that we put our best foot forward and win tonight.

The Coyotes are hanging in there but after a foul and one the Mavs lead 17-13. Make that 17-15.

After getting down by 8 the Coyotes are back within 53-49. I hope the Yotes can hang but I keep wondering if there becomes a time when Omaha just takes over and extends the game out. Maybe the best way to beat this Omaha team is to not get too big of a lead so they don't have to press to catch up. Just keep it close and steal it at the end.

I was hard on Flack earlier but I have to admit he is getting better and better every game and he is becoming a more consistent force in this game. Hopefully he can finish out his career injury free. If Flack can play 25 minutes a game I think that would be perfect for him. He could easily get a double double from those types of minutes.
Flack has a team leading 14 points. It seems like in the past his stat line was like 5 points with a small handful of rebounds with a flashy dunk in there. If he can continue to do what he has done tonight so far that would be very nice.

Norris got called for a technical and it's been downhill ever since. Mavs on a 9-0 run and lead by 10. 12+ to go in the 2nd half.

Now it's 78-62 with 9:12 to go. It's slipping away from the Yotes.

What was the deficit when Norris had the technical? 1? Completely derailed this one.

89-71 Omaha now. Maybe it's becoming a moral victory to play with them for one half. They played with them for 30 minutes last time around. The Coyotes are going to have to get used to the sound of 2-7, at least for a few days. If they don't beat IPFW on thursday it will be 2-8.

96-83 Mavericks is the final. The score got a little closer in garbage time at the end. Omaha could have won this one by 20 and could have pushed the final score over 100 it they didn't slow it down at the end. What a great defensive performance (sigh). Maybe Craig needs to go talk to Amy to see what she did to get her team out of the defensive doldrums because whatever it was it has certainly worked for the Ladies. Maybe it was just a good ass chewing.
How low will this boat sink?

I had expected this year to be down from last year but this is falling well below my expectations. We aren't even competitive. I'm actually growing quite concerned that we aren't even going to make it to Sioux Falls at this rate. We have to find a way to start winning some games.

What "If" we end up not making the cut? How devastating would that be to this program?
