Looked a hundred times better than Thursday night. Great balanced effort by the whole team. Congrats on number 100 coach Smith.

Definitely a much better game today. A little cushion built from 9th place and also a tie breaker win over ORU so the Yotes are sitting 7th. Denver is playing better so they will be hard to catch but they are coming into the dome. With the way things are playing out a likely first round opponent would be IPFW or SDSU.

With this win I feel the team will likely avoid the embarrassment of missing the conference tournament. I just hope we don't draw IPFW once we get there. I've seen all of the other Summit teams in action sans WIU, and I would say IPFW has looked to be the best in the conference.

I would still rather play IPFW than SDSU with 70% of the crowd routing for the Jacks. Neither would be a welcoming challenge but maybe if the Yotes can play lights out down the stretch they could catch #6. Either way the Coyotes will have to step up their defense and overall energy to beat either one anyway otherwise it's a moot point. The Coyotes played very well against IPFW in last year's first round than got crushed by the Jacks.

When Landis had his way with them that night he definitely wasn't running back down the floor with his mouth shut. You can bet they'll remember that if the meet again

When USD visits Frost, it won't be that close. If you are basing off of the game the Jacks played in Vermillion, I can understand that statement. The Jacks played very poorly the 1st half against USD and still came away with a win.

Definitely not out of the woods as far as making the tourney goes. Need to pick up another win or 2 before that last game of the year at Western.

What's the unofficial story with Shy? I was told he needed a "cool down" after some heated words and he was going to sit out 2 games...IPFW and Oral Roberts.

The USD women can be very good if they play defense like they have been. The early season loses for them though will hurt them by a couple seeds if they make the tournament. If SDSU women make it, they will be a 11/12. USD will be a 13/14 if the only loses will be to each other. Really looking forward to the game in Vermillion.
