A super bowl sunday game for the Coyotes in Omaha. The game probably won't be nearly as easy as the Denver game but this should be one that the Coyotes are able to handle if they play anywhere in the stratosphere of how well they have been playing lately.

I don't Omaha presents any real challenge here, just take care of business and return to campus for the final homestand at the Dome.

Well Omaha did put up a fight. The Yotes had a 14 point lead at half (or similar). The Mavs dominated the 3rd quarter to tie it going to the 4th. The experience that the Coyotes have showed up on the 4th as they won going away 70-55. Not every game is going to go as smoothly as one would like. The good teams over come that kind of stuff and the Yotes over came today.

Not a good 3rd Q defensively as the Yotes give up 28 but they played much better in the 4th. Abby was a beast especially in the 4th and kudos to her on a new career high of 14 points!!

Team is now 10-1 in Summit play with 5 games left until Sioux Falls, currently half a game up on SDSU's 9-1 mark. We now enter the crucial final homestand at the Dome against the third, fifth, and second place teams - a sweep of these three games would effectively win us the Summit League regular season title.

If the Coyotes do sweep the 3 game home stand it would guarantee them the #1 seed in the conference tourney by winning 1 out of their last 2 road games at IPFW and IUPUI. That is assuming the Jacks only loss would be to USD in that time period.

I know this is a fan board but I just can't find myself looking beyond the next game, except for goal-setting. I think these last games are going to be tough. I hope our team is tougher. Go Yotes
