So far it doesn't appear as if the body language has matched the talk coming in. The Coyotes talked about how excited they were to be in this tourney and perhaps make a long run. It seems like the energy level isn't real good considering the circumstances.
19-15 Creighton after the 1st quarter.

Creighton 33 South Dakota 30
Halftime
The Yotes simply don't seem very invested in this game tonight. They are lucky they are not down 10-15 at this point. The offense reminds me of how the Men's team was playing towards the end of the year. Dribble down and chuck up the first available shot without really moving the ball in the offense to get a good shot. Almost no effort made to get the ball inside as the majority of the shots were from the outside. I don't know that stats but the fight for rebounds and loose balls leaves alot to be desired. The defense isn't real intense either as Creighton was getting some easy shots inside. The team basically looks alot more like the team prior to the 16 game winning streak.
It's really about caring in the second half. If the Yotes show they want it they will win, if they play like they did in the first half Creighton will be moving on.

What game are you watching, they are playing fine. A couple of missed bunnies and a couple defensive breakdowns we would be up by 4-6 gheez relax nut job.

I guess I was watching a different game because I didn't think the Yotes played well at all in the first half. The third quarter has been much better and the Yotes went up by as much as 10 but the Jays have fought back within 2 at the end of the 3rd. Rumor has it in the first half the Coyotes allowed the NDSU players to see what it was like to wear a Coyote uniform for a half. Now that the real Coyotes are back it's a different game but this game is far from over.
seriously 61 was using "nut job" really necessary.

Overall a ho hum performance but a win is a win. I thought both teams played much better in the second half overall. When both teams are playing their best the Coyotes are simply the better team, period.
They just announced that the next game will be in Minnesota on Sunday afternoon. That will be a tough one for sure. The Coyotes will have to have a better game from start to finish to pull that one out.

I would love to see Banham come play in the dome. That would be worth the price of admission.

I only made it to the Dome for the last three minutes or so of this one. Good turnout, good win.
Chalk Minnesota as a win. Some force in the universe will not let them beat us in any major sport. They should be forced to come here until they beat us once.

Pretty good crowd tonight at the dome. I'm hoping Some Yote fans will travel to Minnesota for the game on Sunday. I was happy to see Duffy look for her shot tonight. She is going to be key if the Yotes are going to make a run in this tourney.
