They have signed, but typically with a coaching change if the player wanted to be released the school will grant it.

I am guessing she will wait to see who the new coach is.

But, does this prohibit any of the staff from applying for the coyote's head coach position? It's possible that any of the staff interested in the head job , went to Herbster and got an honest assessment of their chances before taking the Husker position. I was told one of our men's coaches did that before taking deciding to take another job.

Herbster said at Lunch with the U that all staff were going with Amy. They are not candidates for the job.

Herbster said at Lunch with the U that all staff were going with Amy. They are not candidates for the job. I hope the style of play doesn't change too much,I really liked the defensive intensity and the team style of play,it was fun to watch them dismantle the team from Oregon (Pac 12,the toughest Conference by rpi in the Nation)Hard to defend when the ball keeps moving to the open player like that. It's the new coaches call as to what style he or she will implement, though.Hope the new coach likes the same or similar style that Amy favored.Hard to switch allegiances,at the beginning anyway for some,....like myself. But I will, and I will support the new coach, they deserve their honest chance.

Don't know if Jennie Baranczyk would leave Drake, but she definitely checks all the boxes.

How about Austin Parkinson, 6th year HC of IUPUI women? He has had success there with very little fan support, and has a low salary. I believe it is $70,000, but someone correct me if I am wrong.
He would have a good understanding of midwest/Summit League recruiting and competition. Young guy with Indiana roots, played at Purdue. Thoughts?

Don't know if Jennie Baranczyk would leave Drake, but she definitely checks all the boxes. She definitely looks impressive. Sounds like she really wants to be in Iowa though...
