Got my tickets! bringing the wife and kids.
...Looking at Ticketmaster about 200 to 250 seats have been sold. Lots of great seats available for Coyote fans that have a hard time traveling to Vermillion from Sioux Falls for games! Let's give them a good turnout and show some support.

The season starts tonight at the Sanford Pentagon at 7 PM!
Looking at the Ticketmaster site, about 450 tickets have been sold. I hope there will be more walk-in sales so it won't look so empty. The capacity of the Pentagon's main court is over 3,000. Our home average last year was over 2K, but that included the WNIT crowds, so the "real" average was probably closer to 1,800. The Pentagon court might remind the girls of playing in the dome because of the old-school bleachers look.
Should be fun. Anyone else on here that lives in or near SF going to the game?

I'm not going to be surprised at the sparse attendance tonight. I believe I missed just 1 of our 18 home games last year and even I have little interest in tonight's game. I initially did not plan on going until I bought tickets to the football game tomorrow and decided I might as well go to this basketball game on my way up. Despite buying my tickets just a few weeks ago I was still able to get front row seats even with the free throw line. The Pentagon is a great facility, but this is an opponent that does nothing to move the needle and I don't particularly care to pay extra for a game that should have been in Vermillion and included in my season ticket package. I'm guessing the only reason it's in SF is so that the men and women could debut in the SCSC together.

I am also heading to the game tonight on my way to State College tomorrow. I am anxious to see the new look Coyotes and am hoping for a decent crowd and it always good to get together for some pregame festivities as Beef O"Bradys. However, I really wish my schedule would have allowed me to go the volleyball game tonight in Vermillion as the Yotes host Denver in a match that will likely determine the regular season champion.

I am going to the game tonight and looking foward to it. I am looking forward to it to watch the Coyotes but I think the Pentagon is massively over rated. I admit I really like the corner balcony seats as that is a cool twist other then that I don't see the appeal to it. I don't hate it but almost everyone seems to love it so I am in the vast minority in thinking that it is just simply another arena. Now the SCSC is cool and so is the Premier Center but the Pentagon is blah to me. If you want to see a basketball arena with awesome sight lines go check out the Army Cadets arena. Now that would be a great place to watch a game with really nice vantage points.

FWIW - the game tonight against Arkansas is on SEC+ (if you get that) and also streaming on ESPN3. It will be interesting to see how this young team handles a good athletic P5 team. I expect the score won't be pretty, but interesting to see how they play.
