I realize this information is a little late, but according to a poster on the Bunny Board, their attendance for the playoff game against Nova was 6,154.
The post said it was "per Tyler Merriam's twitter feed."

Not sure if this qualifies as being the rabbits fault, but I listened to the first 5 minutes of the 100 eyes on SDSU podcast. The quote on the rabbits w/o Miller "They are the best team in that league, and have been for a long time, because they are loaded." I keep forgetting who won the league the past 2 years. Listen at your own risk: soundcloud.com/argus-sports

Except for when we did, cause that was a fluke and it doesn't count and it was just because of that darn Seekamp girl.

I hate to be that guy but if that game in 2014 was played 2 more times, we probably lose both of them. I think they just had a bad game. That's the ONLY game they've lost in the Summit League Tournament. Winning regular season championships is great, but until we're a 2-bid league, tournament championships are the measuring stick. And the same thing could probably be said last year. We just had a bad game in the championship game.

What I am refuting is the statement that SDSU has been the best team in the Summit for a long time. If you use winning the championship as the stick, we won it in 2014. If you say that is a fluke and they "should have" won, then you have to concede that we "should have" won for the last two years. Either way the original statement is wrong.

SDSU has a lot of talent. I agree with that statement. To say that the reason they have been so consistent is always being the most talented team is a little bit of a stretch, though. I would argue that coaching has been a bigger part, especially in their first few years in the Summit. In the 9 seasons they have been in the league, AJ has won 4 Summit COY, and one National COY. In those 9 seasons they have had 1 all-american player. Oral Roberts has had 3. In the same span Oral Roberts has had 3 Summit POY, Ft Wayne 2, SDSU, USD, NDSU, Western Ill all had 1. Tournament MVP: SDSU has had 5 in 9 years (pretty impressive) USD has had 3 in 4 years eligible (better) How about all-conference players in the last 9 seasons? SDSU DOES win that category, but its not a landslide: Average per year: (first or second team) 2.1 SDSU 19 in 9 years 1.6 USD 8 in 5 years 1.4 ORU 10 in 7 years 1.3 Oakland 8 in 6 years 1.3 IUPUI 12 in 9 years 1.2 Fort Wayne 11 in 9 years 1.0 NDSU 9 in 9 years 1.0 UMKC 6 in 6 years 1.0 UNO 4 in 4 years 0.8 West Ill 7 in 9 years 0.8 Southern UT 4 in 5 years data from here: www.thesummitleague.org/RecordBook/Women-s_Basketball_History.pdf

Only flawed reasoning and mental gymnastics will bring one to the conclusion that USD has at no point been the best team in the Summit League.

You're the one using "flawed reasoning and mental gymnastics ". Not only to you parse words( substituting "last few years" instead of "long time" but add some sentence about USD which wasn't even in the original quote. I suggest you sit this one out and let the adults talk.

Was SDSU the best team in 2013-14, 2014-15, AND 2015-16?

HOLY SMOKES!! The Yotes WBB is down 11-0 against Louisville on ESPN3 right now! That is really saying something since we don't play them this year.
Nice job ESPN.
