7PM tip off. Hopefully this won't be much of a game but it's a game so a thread is deserved. I would have to imagine there will be 4 or 5 thousand in person at this one.

18-3 Coyotes at the under 12 time out. Ok so we can't draw too many conclusion because after all this is Presentation but the Coyotes are ready to play and the opponent at least looks capable of competing. Mooney has come out pretty hot. Maybe he can turn into a Max Landis type player. Wouldn't that be nice. Nice start to the game.

BTW- I just looked at the Yotes game online. It looks like there are more students at this game than the home opener. Holiday weekend killed, I guess.

WTF rabbits? Down 30-18 to Wayne State?? 😂 We know how coaching changes can go, don't we? How funny and I read that Wayne State was the 2nd worst team last year in the NSIC. This kind of brings me to something that I was thinking about. Almost everyone thought the USD women were going to have this huge fall off this year. I am not talking about the Coyotes fans but outsiders, even though many Yotes fans thought the same thing. Those same people didn't seem to think the Jackrabbit men would missed many beats. I always kind of wondered why that was the case. The situations are very similar but the Coyote Women were a little better in the past two years than the Jacks men were. Early indications are that the Coyotes will handle change better then the Mustard colored Bunny Boys.

The player bench side of the court is very empty tonight. I think just the arena itself is good enough reason to come out to the game despite the mismatch in the game itself. The Jacks trail Wayne State 37-33 at half. How funny is that.

99-60 Coyotes win. Never in doubt and they never let Presentation reveal a pulse.

They have been very lucky to keep all their coaches in major sports for a long time and now that is starting to change. It could be a very long year for the men's basketball team in cow town this year.

The Yotes were a little sloppy at a couple points in the game but still looked really good IMO.
When you have a true freshman like Pederson with a steal and dunk you can see how much more talented this team is from top to bottom.

What was the reason for keeping Flack out? Did something happen in practice since Sunday's game or is this just precautionary? He did leave the floor briefly against Bowling Green but came back to finish the game.
In the postgame Craig Smith stated the benefit of playing these two NAIA schools on back-to-back days. Gives the team an idea of what it will be like in a tournament setting where you have no time to celebrate a victory and have to go right to the film room. Personally, I like it because these lower division games are out of the way early - and at a time when this team is still getting a feel for each other on the court.

I'm guessing he kept Flack out for some rest since he rolled his ankle Sunday. Someone else on here said Hagedorn was nursing an ankle injury too is why he didn't play at all Sunday either.

Yes Flack was out due to ankle issues from the Bowling Green game and Hagedorn is also nursing high ankle issues.
