I think just passing to get open shots is a part of it and finishing well in transition hasn't been bad either. Arens driving to the basket creates good shots and when Fogg gets it down low it is nearly automatic. Some of the players that may not normally post up are doing that as well. Dawn emphasizes flexibility so many girls do many things well. They just have a knack for not taking bad shots. For as young as they are this team sure plays smart basketball.

There is another stat that we are #1 in the Summit: Rebound Defense.
It's not a stat that is listed on the NCAA Stats site, but the Summit League weekly summary report has it. I'd like to include it, but I don't have a national ranking for it.
Now it makes more sense to me why we are so good in rebound margin, but not in total number of rebounds. We are limiting the total number of possessions in the game by not allowing the other team to get a bunch of offensive rebounds ( I think that's the reason). By contrast, the reason WIU is so high in a lot of stats is because they play a lot more fast-paced game with lots of turnovers and second-chance points. I think when we play them we will control the pace a little more than other opponents have.
