Tip off at 5:30PM
No known video for the game, just radio only today it would appear.
Northern Illinois (6-3) likes to play fast. The Coyotes can probably score with them. Hopefully they will play just enough defense to win today.

the pace has been very fast so far. I hope the Coyotes don't run out of gas if they don't play a deep bench. So far the Coyotes are winning the battle of scoring 21-14.

I don't give a darn how good Northern Illinois' three point shooting is because I will take our three point shooters against most everyone. Bradley already has 6 treys tonight. If she keeps up this pace who do you stop, her, Arens or Fogg. Good luck Northern Illinois.
33-20 Coyotes.
When I started this note Bradley only had 4 threes, as if you can say ONLY to that.

40-27 Coyotes barely into the second quarter. The rebounding has been good and the defense probably better on the Coyotes side. I can barely keep up with this action. I sure hope the Yotes can keep up this pace because it is absolutely frantic out there. If Northern Illinois didn't play a little bit of defense they would play No defense.
Arens is getting baskets and fouls now.
48-30 now.

Allison Arens with a three right before halftime
A Arens with 21 Bradley with 18
and that is just at half.
60-39 - The Coyotes are out classing Northern Illinois in every way. They are definitely out hustling them based on the radio play by play.
edit - they took a point away and it is 59-39 at half.
It would be nice if the Yotes tried to slow it down just a bit in the second half. This is the style of game that shows us that the Yotes are still a greatly talented basketball team.

Why would you want to do anything other than what you're doing if you're up 20?

I do not think this game is over yet. If the lead gets to 25 I may change my mind.

Obviously it's not over. My question remains, why would you want to do anything other than what you're doing if you're up by 20 at the half?

Why would you want to do anything other than what you're doing if you're up 20? That does not mean to lose aggressiveness but Northern Illinois is used to this pace and with a not very deep bench it could get interesting in a hurry.

It's already interesting. 62-50 just like that.

Yotes are going cold and it appears that the Huskies are starting to win the hustle battles.
62-52.

Coyotes are now responding. It was down to 7 but now it is 73-60 Coyotes. The pace has seemed to slow a bit.

Allison now has 26 but the Huskies will not go away.
McKeever has hit a couple of much needed threes.
end of 3rd
Coyotes lead 78-70.
We will find out how much the Yotes have left in the tank because that is what this game is coming down to.
