Bradley has not scored since the first quarter. The Coyotes are fading and now the lead is 82-79. 6:19 left. Too much time unfortunately.

The Coyotes won almost every hustle battle in the first half but that is all changed now. The Coyotes have lost their shooting touch. Rubber legs maybe. Who is going to save the Coyotes. Allison with 30. Huskies answer.
84-81 Coyotes. Can they hold on. Usually when a team has a big lead and the other team comes back the team coming back will kind of lose their energy. I don't know if that notion holds up this time around.

Coyotes are catching another wind just in time. Coyotes up 95-83. 1:15 to go.

Final 97-83
That was a gut check win. I credit the Coyotes because I really believe that 1st half pace nearly ended up allowing the Huskies to come back and win. I think the girls deserve some spa treatment after that one.
Go Coyotes - what a win.

Great win. That just shows the versatility of this team. They can win with defense or win with offense.

The Coyotes have to play at 1PM tomorrow. After a game like this that will be a challenge. The Coyotes won the battle of rebounds fairly easily. There was no mention of fatigue at all nor was the question asked on the post game interview. Southern Illinois apparently shoots it well from outside and also drives to the basket effectively as well. Somehow the Coyotes will probably figure out a way to win that game as well.

Looks like the bench didn't get much PT tonight - that may show up tomorrow afternoon. But for tonight - a good win against a solid squad. Nice work!

I could only listen to the last 1 and 1/2 Qs. Obviously that N Ill is the number 2 scoring team in the country with 93 a game. They scored seemly at will in the 3rd Q but the Yotes owned the 4th and held them to "only 83". A good tough win by the Lady Yotes!!

Southern Illinois looks to be less of a challenge than Northern Illinois. Going to be tough to play with such a quick turnaround, but that's good prep for the SL tourney.

Attendance: 220 The actually could have played the game in the Coyote Den (if it is still set up). Another example of how we take WBB interest for granted - it is pretty bad in many parts of the country.

Another example of how we take WBB interest for granted - it is pretty bad in many parts of the country. Do keep in mind this was a game played hundreds of miles from each campus. I'm sure our men played in front of a comparable crowd in Florida last month.
