The Jacks have been picked to win the Summit League 3 straight years at least, and probably many more before then. Odds are that this will be the third straight year that the Jacks will not claim even a piece of the conference title. Reason, because they just are not nearly as good away from Frost. That is why I value the regular season title more than a tourney title considering the tourney is not played on a neutral court with the attendance factor. Jacks fans can brag all they want about all the auto bids but those are not really decided in a just manner. Damn CF, this is so good I read it twice. You absolutely nailed this one.

They've finished top 3 in the conference every year since they've been in it, including winning it 5 times. And, yes, they're not as good away from home. They're home record is insanely good, it'd be damn near impossible to match that on the road. Also, most teams aren't as good on the road. As for the SLT, I don't know why it's their fault that SDSU fans show up in droves for that tournament. USD fans could do the same. They're just as close. I, personally, would love the Denny to be more full with more red being in there. It'd make the atmosphere more exciting.
