After a great start to the conference season, WIU is possibly reverting back to being a 300+ RPI level team. Good chance for the Yotes to hold serve at home.
Does anyone know the expected timeframe for Flack's return? Will he be practicing this week, or possibly even playing?

I am very happy that the game tonight is happening as planned as I am going through some basketball withdrawal with having Saturday off.
Hopefully the Leathernecks didn't have a major problem making it to Vermillion. Really the deciding factor in whether to hold the game is regarding that status of Western Illinois being able to make it to Vermillion. If they make it the game will go on. The Summit and/or USD will do everything possible to avoid having to reschedule if at all possible unless the game would have been moved to tomorrow.
I am going with a close first half with the Coyotes pulling away for a 73-62 victory. If the Necks team that showed up in Fort Wayne, Indiana comes to the SCSC it will be one heck of a game. If the recent WIU team shows up the Coyotes should have an 80% chance or higher to win tonight.
I am feeling confident of a Wednesday/Thursday home sweep by the Coyotes and that would be especially true if the Men pull it out tonight.

Awful shooting FG% 6-29 21% 3PT 1-9 11% FT 9-13 69%
WIU leads 25-22
We have forced some turnovers which is the only reason we are in this game. Missed 4 straight 3s to close the half.

The Coyotes look like they have been off for a month, not a week. Did it snow in the SCSC because it looks like both teams are playing in a foot of snow. The Coyotes are very lucky that Western Illinois is not playing well because the Yotes deserve to be down 20 in this one. Almost certainty the worst half of basketball I have seen all year in the home digs. Luckily what is true for one is true for both. The Coyotes cannot afford to lose this game if the goal is to wear white in Sioux Falls. I think things will look much better in the second half and the Yotes will pull it out, at least they better.

The only way this game could be any uglier would be if both teams wore blue and yellow and had mascots that looked like constipated rodents.

62-55 is the Final for the Coyotes.
It's a good thing the NCAA is forced to give a win because both teams deserve a loss in this one. Very ugly basketball all around. If Western Illinois plays D+ basketball they win but luckily for the Coyotes their D performance beat the Necks D- effort. I would have liked to see a much better performance especially coming off the loss at ORU. It is what it is but the Yotes cannot afford any more performances like tonight. They need to play much better against the Pioneers on Saturday.
