I was looking at EWU and USD stats to try and find anything that stands out, but really both of these teams are well-rounded statistically. USD is better in most stats, but neither team is outstanding or terrible in any stat.
I think that's a good thing. It means we don't have a lot of "weak" areas. We have improved our all-around game.
The one stat that caught my eye for the Yotes is assist/turnover ratio of 1.34 (#1 Summit, #42 Nationally). I've been told that is a critical stat. Ball control.

Coach Smith noted that Bliznyuk is from Federal Way, WA, and is one of TBM's best friends. I suspect they will be guarding each other on Sunday, so that will be fun to watch.
Also, Mick noted in a blog post or chat that the team has been working on things to be able to adapt to various styles of play later in the year, and that could lead to not looking as impressive in some stats, even though it really is a strength. (Although I have no idea what those would be.)

The Yotes have played well and exceeded expectations in most games. if the yotes play their typical game they can win this by 20. i have been under estimating most of the scores so far so I will go out on the limb a bit more and go 87-62.

A truly pitiful first half... if they don't put a decent effort in the 2nd half, the will end up with a humiliating loss.

Rough, physical game against a team with very good size. Yotes won on a day when they shot abysmally from the 3 point line while EWU shot 50% in the second half from deep and the opponents hit 100% of their free throw attempts. Doesn't always have to be pretty. Don't forget, this team beat Stanford. Bottom line: it goes in the left hand column and that, ultimately, is what counts.

Felt like Smith was letting the team (and a couple players) work through some struggles. Both Mooney and Hags sat quite a bit (even though Fuller was stuggling with EWU's size), almost like Smith was saying 'someone else figure it out - stop relying on these two'. Sparks brought some energy and hustle into the game.

I didn't think the Coyotes played great today but I didn't think they were as bad as some may have. Some days the shots just don't fall but luckily down the stretch when E-Washington started making their's the Yotes had an answer. We have been getting spoiled at times with how easily they have been dispatching of some pretty good teams. Look at Bowling Green. I still think they only have 1 or 2 losses on the season so that road win is looking mighty nice right now.
I really like EWU's logo with the eagle and the letters comprising of the body. One of my favorite logos. Their uniforms are another example of why dark gray usually just doesn't work. I kept thinking they looked green instead of gray and the closer up shots made them look even more green. It's better just to go with either light gray or black. The Yotes used to sport light grey on their home uni's in the 90's and maybe prior to that. They were trimmed with red and looked nice.
So now that Eastern Washington is behind us we can now look forward to playing them again in either the 2nd or 3rd round of the NCAA tourney :-)
