easmus--good point about letting off the gas--think it is human nature to think subconsciously "we're playing great/we've got control of this game". Shots on O won't always fall but least a team should attempt to be very consistent on D. Great D for 4Qs is a lot of hard work and as always not as glamorous as O (it just wins games and championships).

Couldn’t agree more. Defense doesn’t slump like shooting can.

Wow- USD has a game @ Western Illinois tomorrow. That should be a tough one. That will mean that USD will have three games played and SDSU will only have one played (tonight). Even if USD lost that game they will still be in the conference fight but if they win, they are sitting really good for this early in the season. I look at it as a three teams race SDSU, USD and Western Illinois. If you can get a road win at one of the other contenders right away, you are set up better than any other team to win the conference.

Maybe to catch a flight yet tonight to get to Macomb in a reasonable time for Thursday's game??? Just a guess. You are correct, they will be catching a charter from ND to Western Illinois tonight and then will be on the charter bus back to Vermillion after the game. Well, you can't say our University doesn't value the Women's Basketball team. Charter flights are for ballers, homie!

Great to see the girls with the big smiles on their faces after the game in Fargo. I would be pretty giddy as well after that one. They will need all they can muster tomorrow night.
kiyoat - thanks for posting that photo.
