The first time we played ORU, Faith Ihim had an uncharacteristicly bad game, but their 6'-3" Forward from Barcelona, Maria Martianez, took up the slack. Last time we played, Martianez was out with an injury, and Faith took up the slack. Ihim has been filling stat sheets in Maria's absence, and driving to the basket seemingly at-will. They also have a couple of young guards that are starting to become outside threats.
Yesterday Martianez didn't score much in her return, but still managed to grab a lot of boards. It will be interesting to see how she is used.
Massey has us winning 71-56, and I agree with that line.

Weather has to favor the team from the North today, right?

Weather has to favor the team from the North today, right? Sure, if they move the game to the parking lot!

Getting ahead early will be key to this game. If they can control the pace, then that could be bad news. Also, we could be hurt if Jasmine gets in foul trouble. We struggled to defend Ihim without her. Besides those two things happening, I think we should definitely win and are the better team.

We're by Beresford right now and have seen a number of vehicles in the ditch. Stuck going about 45. No one should be out here right now. I think attendance is going to be a bit lighter than we saw on Saturday (for both sessions)

I would estimate probably 3K and maybe even less. a bad offensive foul call turned the mo a bit to ORU before half.

The Coyotes' depth should pay off in this game. Three of ORU's starters have 3 fouls with a whole quarter to play.

65-53 Final
USD was 15-of-16 from the line. That proved to be important in this game, where ORU only shot seven free-throws. ORU played agressively down low, and matched USD's points in the paint and rebounds.

This is the typical game vs the Eagles. they don't make things easy. The necks are probably the more likely to to pull an upset or possibly lose by over 20.
