......., and what about Head Coaching experience with a couple of our most recent coaches? Amy w/ Rogers State and Craig w/ Mayville State? Not exactly hoop hotbeds, and look how they turned out. Nuff said. I am very proud of the recruiting efforts of our Athletics Administration; past and present. Todd Lee should step right in for Craig, much like Dawn did for Amy. The current roster is one I am very proud of, and let's see how things go. Exciting hire.

It is good to keep in mind that Kentucky Wes. was on probation and a scholarship down during his tenure. Because when you just hear that they have more national championships in DII (8) than anyone and yet he never even led them to the Elite 8 during his tenure it would lead one to think that he didn't do a very good job there. The thing I keep going back to is Dave Williams was there during that time, so he would know if Lee was doing a very good job and he obviously thought that he was or we wouldn't have even considered him. I'm hoping he is able to do something to help create the same atmosphere that they have at the Grand Canyon games. It sounds like it's pretty crazy there. I don't know if there is much a coach can do besides put a good product on the floor, but if he's got some tricks up his sleeve on how to accomplish that it would be great. From what I can tell, I think the school has also been in financial turmoil since about or before the time Todd was first hired.

I had no idea when I first posted this that he would actually get the job! I just new that he was a USD Alum. As someone who went to college and knew him, I have continued to follow him. He has been successful everywhere! Good luck Coach Lee! And welcome home!
