Three days. Three increasingly difficult opponents. Sun, swim, and surf distracting them from their goals. Can they pull off another Summit and Coyote record THIRD ranked-team upset?.....
Tune in and see. If you can. I'll have to see about streaming options.... someone look into that for me....

Right now the link from the GoYotes.com schedule for live streaming takes you to a facebook site: www.facebook.com/disfrutatueventopr/The streaming audio will be from GoYotes.com, and I assume the same Thayer broadcast will be on the radio 106.3 The live stats are from the Sports Tours International site: sporttours.net/composite?d=2018-12-19Hopefully the stream won't be for an exorbitant fee, like the men's Bahamas games were.

And aren't they also defending WNIT champs to boot? That team hasn't lost in a long time.

Had to check, and yes, Indiana won the NIT last year. How is it even possible for a Big Ten team on a 15 game winning streak with that title go unranked? I don't even care about SOS (because the pollsters don't). No power team gets left out like that. Especially with a name like Indiana.
Shocking that we are getting credit ahead of them. I like that.

Here is the article's take on Grambling State: The Tigers Grambling State (1-7) won the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Tournament last year to advance to the 2018 NCAA Tournament. This season's Tigers are paced by senior guard Shakyla Hill in points, rebounds, assists and steals. She was named to the preseason Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list. She was also named the SWAC's Preseason Player of the Year and Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. Hill became just the fourth player in NCAA women's basketball history to record a quadruple-double last season against Alabama State. The Tigers are in the middle of a grueling 12-game road swing lasting from Nov. 9 to Jan. 12. #5 Shakyla Hill (5'-7" Senior Guard)

Massey has us winning 80-48.
Obviously Ms. Hill is the standout on the team. She is getting 16.0 Points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 4.5 steals(#2 in D-I) per game this year. She also is good at drawing fouls.
As a team they are forcing 22 turnovers, including 11 steals a game. I'd like to see if we can limit turnovers in this game. That's the game-within-the-game for me, or the challenge. Good practice for playing WIU.
Other than that, there's no need to tire out starters in this game, since they play every day for three days.

29-15 first Q. Despite the score differential, I don't like how Grambling is able to take uncontested arc shots, and drawing fouls at-will on dribble drives.

67-53 final. They were up by 20 or 24 points when the bench completely replaced the starters. I didn't watch the 4th, but Grambling must have poured it on. They have a lot of quickness, but no size. I'll be curious to see the turnover numbers, they definitely were getting a lot of steals.

Ugly wins still count the same as pretty ones. Let's hope the Yotes can take care of business the next 2 days.
