Todd Lee has been ejected. Double technical apparently, from his disagreement with a foul called on Umude. They shot 4 FTs, then got 2 more from the initial foul. Makes it 35-28.
I'd say this one is over. We were holding a comfortable lead like 2 minutes ago, but this turn of events seems insurmountable with just 7 guys and our head coach gone. I say this with a minute left until halftime.

Down 39-32 at half. Caleb Cline got into the game with Umude in foul trouble. I guess that makes our rotation 8 guys now.
Side note - The commentators called Umude our best player. That would have been an insanely unthinkable statement until very recently. Love his progress.

I don't think Umude even touched the guy, and they called him for his 3rd foul, so Lee got heated and T'd up, but I don't know what happened to get him ejected. You could hear him on TV yelling at the refs "what is going on?" after he was ejected.

I didn't even see the foul. Was not really paying attention until I heard the commentators say he was ejected. Might have to rewind here during halftime.

I think it’s far from over myself. Coach giving them FTs didn’t help, but it would take the patience of a Saint to not get upset about phantom foul calls on your leading scorer when you’re already playing short handed.
Can we be 8 better than ORU in a half? Sure can!

The foul trouble will likely be a bigger obstacle though.

Nzekwesi out for the second half they're saying, not that it matters. He has done nothing in the first half.
ORU 14-20 already from the FT line. The result of our depth and a little home cooking it seems.

Yeah, I don't think Umude even touched the guy on his third foul. Certainly not a foul.
The "what is going on?" that I heard didn't have any cursing though. There's basically no noise in the arena, I'm pretty sure we would have heard Lee if he was really getting out of line.

This tweet from the ORU beat writer with the Tulsa World Herald Unbiased source seems to line up with what I just replayed.

Neszeszsezszkwasi is out for the game. Umude is out there to start the 2nd half with 3 fouls. Student managers may dress if he fouls out.

That being said Coach Lee did get his money's worth after he was ejected.

Getting into the bonus less than 4 minutes into the 2nd half would help with a comeback.

Oofda. Even after I go back and re-watch it, the whole sequence is hard to wrap your head around. Sure it was a bad call, but why is the one bald ref (who called the 1st T) so visibly angry with Lee. Watch how he behaves during the FT's and the 2nd T - just.... odd.

Has anyone else see a team shoot a 1-and-1 with 15:39 left in the game? Let's keep on that strategy.
