Let's see how they build off of a win over Fort Wayne with a trip to the Elliptical Architectural Wonder known as the Mabee Center.
Massey has us winning a low scoring game: 68-66
Without spending a lot of time on specifics, this is what the stat rankings tell me:
1. Oral Roberts is a good rebounding team, especially Offensive rebounds. 2. Oral Roberts fouls a lot, and is a poor free-throw shooting team 3. Oral Roberts is turnover-prone and dead last in TO margin.
If we have an average shooting day on offense, I think we will be fine on defense. I predict we keep them under 60 points.

forum.orusports.com/index.php?/topic/10895-coaches-show-2018-19/Link to ORU message board thread that has all the Monday Coaches Shows. This week they interviewed Assistant Coach Sam Patterson. Like the women's coach interview, they don't preview the Yotes at all, but listen if you want to get some in-depth info on the opponent.

The game tonight is on ESPN+, which is always nice. I won't get to watch it..... I'll be helping set up my daughter's gym for a meet.... Not that I'm bitter about it.... I mean, I'll gladly miss a televised game for the actual meet that my daughter is performing in... but...

In thinking about Coach Lee's impact, this is a stat line I would love to see. Also, a review of our turnovers and assists/turnover ratios, I would guess they are improved. If I could give any parent advice it would be that kids stuff should always take priority over anything. Unreal how fast the years fly by and then it's done. I've also heard too many parents anticipating their kid being in high school, playing varsity, etc. Just no. Enjoy the journey and live for the moment. To reiterate, it goes by all too quickly as it is.

On this, I won't even be spending quality time with her. Oh well. It helps the gym, which she does great in, and she loves the sport. It might be that I'm just salty about the $$$$ we spend on the gym, and then are expected to volunteer for as well... such is life. Most club sports are like that. Gymnastics is spendy. I've heard hockey is worse, though.

Thanks kiyoat, signed lazy A** Canislatrans I started looking at the numbers in the early games. We didn't show that pattern of shutting down the opponent's best player in the games through Bimini Jam. Will start looking at Baylor and later...

We still dont know if TBM is playing tonight right? ORU's PG is questionable as well. ORU being without their point guard would be big. I don't think ball handling is one of their more developed skills, but with such a short bench it might be hard to take advantage with full court pressure etc.

Any road win this season will be a big one, unfortunately. Chance to get to .500 in league play and start a 3-game road trip off right.
