I'll be honest. I don't have a lot of time today or tomorrow to do any statistical analysis. It's not that the Dons aren't worthy of it. They certainly proved something trampling the Pioneers in Denver. If I remember the previous analysis correctly, they have a couple of bigs that defend and score in the paint well, but never attempt any 3's, and shoot horribly from the line. That's all I got. If anyone else wants to fill the void, please do.
Oh, and Massey has us winning:
79-51
The way our young ladies have been playing, exceeding that 28-point spread would not surprise me. Consistency can be hard to maintain, though. Especially high-efficiency shooting. Ask Denver about that. If the margin is closer, that doesn't bother me too much, as long as it is mainly due to cold arc-shooting, or the Don's having an exceptional shooting day. The only thing that would throw up a red flag to me would be a loss, or poor effort on defense. I highly doubt we see either of those.
The emergence of Sjerven as a dominant post should help reduce the effect of any cold-shooting day, I would think. Lately teams just have no answer for her. And even if a team was successful in slowing Sjerven, that would just expose them to our arc shooting. Just like Duffy said in the last Post-game.
If we had two of her we would be virtually unstoppable.... *evil maniacal laughter* ....Okay, maybe that's a little bit of hyperbole.

How the heck do they expect to play defense when the refs call every touch on us, but the Dons 00 can push and shove at will? The refs should call it as “basketball”, not “women’s basketball”, similar to how they call “men’s basketball”. They let the men post up and bang, but do not let the women.

Sounds like this was a near-nightmare trip. John Thayer mentioned 1) plane trouble on the way out, almost didn't leave (or make it somehow, not sure) 2) Presumably due to that plane trouble, as of game time, they didn't know if they were going to make it home tonight or where they were staying or how getting home 3) flooding noted above in PFW facility 4) they dressed in a racquetball court - locker rooms had water damage Can't blame the team for being a little distracted in the first half.

Seems like they had a gameplan of neutering Sjerven. It worked to some degree, until the Coyotes decided to take over the game with defense. (Including Sjerven, who couldn’t be contained by fouls.)
Can’t blame them for trying.

Jay Elsen re-tweeted a source that claimed some kind of abuse was involved. I posted it in the "Summit League" forum:

Oh boy-as if this program needed any more difficulties. As bad as they have been the last few seasons, the team was starting to trend upward IMO.
