Interesting...all but Denver were the weaker teams in the conference. I'll be curious to see what the new NDSU coach can do with that program next season as much as they've struggled lately and with so many players that have moved on. Seems like it might be a completely new roster next year. They'll need to give him some time because it might take a few seasons, but the good news for the new coach is the bar's been set fairly low. Nowhere to go but up.

So far, I can only see 3 incoming transfers. PFW has 2, and ORal Roberts has 1: PFW - Michell Nicholls, 5’10” So Guard from LaSalle PFW - Valerie Clark, 5’11” So Guard from Eastern Kentucky OR - Jentry Hall, 6’3” Grad Transfer from Oklahoma State (she sat out last year)
I am sure the new NDSU coach is looking through the Portal for a few transfers as well....

Am I wrong in thinking that Oral Roberts might be more than a handful next season?

Am I wrong in thinking that Oral Roberts might be more than a handful next season? I'd agree. They do lose Beatty, but Mayberry and Lippe scored a ton as well. I think they will be fine in the shooting department. They seemed to fix their rebounding deficiencies late in the season, and really the missing piece for them was size inside, which presumably Holt should help with, at least for one season (grad transfer). They seemed to really have our number last year. Well, almost. Hopefully Coach P will be prepared for them next year. We will get everyone's best shot, but that has been the case for a while now. Nothing new.

NDSU’s new coach is from Kansas. On the transfer list, Kansas has a new listing - a 6’2” Sophomore forward. I wonder if the Bison will try to get her?

I think her stats were pretty good comparatively. Old Hare is probably right about the PFW exodus. I'm sure lack of being competitive is a factor for those leaving PFW, but when one of your better players moves down to a D2 there has to be something else. I wonder with Denver and ORU if these are players that just know they aren't going to get much playing time? The one that transfered to Valpo, ... to me, that's a lateral move. In WBB the Valley isn't better than the Summit. (That last sentence sounds like a geography pun)

I expect the Bison to get much tougher if their coach is a better recruiter than the last two coaches they've had. They landed Minn Miss Basketball Kacie Borowicz this season,a really good "get".

Oral Roberts recently lost two freshman guard’s, sisters, who transferred to a D2 school in Oklahoma. One of them had started 10 games this season, and between them they were averaging about 10 points and 9 rebounds per game.

WTH is going on in Tulsa?
