A national sports news source has surveyed the coaches in the Summit League as too which is the best coaching job in the league. Neither of our schools came in first based on the results, I feel sorry for the Western Illinois coach. They were 8 or ninth in every category. It is an interesting survey that measures about 9 or 10 different categories ranging from facilities to fan support to recruiting base. Review the report at the link below: watchstadium.com/news/summit-league-basketball-coaches-rank-the-best-jobs-in-the-conference-09-05-2019/The survey results present some interesting perspectives. Your highest ranking was in facilities and ours was in game atmosphere. The article is by Jeff Goodman with Stadium Basketball Insider.

Wow. Some unfiltered opinions in there! Interesting quotes you get when it's anonymous. They did only interview a "handfull of veteran coaches" from the conference, many of which were assistants. It gives an interesting, but not unbiased, perspective IMO.
I won't argue with those opinions, though. Other than Denver being rated #2 in basketball facilities.

Looking at the pros/cons it seems like at least 2 or three of the coaches were from ORU. The cons for both ND schools was how cold it is. The cons for both SD schools was how small and crappy the towns are. The con for ORU was “having to travel to the Dakotas”.
Veteran coaches must = “living in the past” when ORU used to fill their arena and when USD played in the dome.
