Great gritty road win by the Lady Yotes against a team that can play tough defense and score points (they had 111 in their first game against Central Michigan) and 60 against the Yotes today!! Good game to build on and continue to improve on! Go Yotes!!!

I think this win is going to help us a lot later on. If I had one area where I think we need to clean up a bit, i think it might be fouls and still a few too many turnovers. But it’s still very early in the season and on the road so not all kinks are naturally worked out yet. Also really not a fan of GB’s arena, maybe it’s better in person, but on ESPN it just looked like the seats were so far from the court. I agree, but some of the fouls and turnovers was just part of playing Green Bay. Like last year, we shot way more free throws than them, and it ended up being a big factor. So that’s a positive. We didn’t dominate the glass in this game like we did against most of our opponents last year. Also allowing more points. I wonder if that is a by-product of playing faster? More possessions for both teams. Like Denver likes to play. That arena looked like a slightly less crappy version of Frost, with upper and lower pull out bleachers. Full of fans, though. Gotta appreciate that.

I'm with yote18 - it feels like things are still uncharacteristically sloppy across the board. There is a level of precision we have seen from this group the past couple years that isn't there yet. Not that it is a train-wreck (it isn't) but it appears obvious that there is a lot of room to get closer to their ability ceiling - which will be needed a few times over the next few weeks.

They had four assists and 23 turnovers in last year’s win against GB versus 12 and 11 this year so I think they’re doing ok.

But I think it’s pretty obvious that without Allison they are missing a playmaker out there. If Duffy isn’t drawing the D and making the pass nobody else has really shown that ability yet. Could wear her down over a long season.

To start with two road games is tough and they got Ws too against good teams. I have no doubt they will continue to tweek, improve and their chemistry will get better. My wife and I are excited to see them in Vegas!!

Absolutely. Those are two great wins no matter how you look at it.

I was at the football game so I didn't get to watch or listen to the game yesterday and have no observations other than the fact that anytime we can get a win on the road against a team of that caliber, it has to be considered a great win and I don't care how it was accomplished. Wow...that's kind of a long, run on sentence.

Wow...that's kind of a long, run on sentence. Turning point was the first 5 or 6 minutes of the 4th quarter when the defense clamped down and allowed zero points. It was a brutal neck and neck fight to that point.

Wow...that's kind of a long, run on sentence. I’m disappointed in your sentence structure, teach. I’ll be watching your apostrophe game... If you (or anyone else) wants to re-watch the game it is probably still available on the ESPN app. It’s one of the benefits of having the game on ESPN3 or ESPN+. Same goes for the football game. The first pro tip from me is free. After that it is subscription-based...

The largest Coyote lead was 9 with 343 left and the largest GB lead was 5 in the 3rd Q so very close competitive game start to finish.
Can watch replay on espn3 by computer which is what I did last night then watched dvrd Coyote win over Bo--was a fun 3 hours!!
