Letting fans in would be a nightmare given how many tickets were sold already. How could you ever fairly prioritize who can come in and who can't? Everyone paid the same price but you can't cram everyone in.
Glad we already got a crushing win over state in the championship venue already.

This is an absolute tragedy for South Dakota State. Not so much for the Coyotes since this tourney has really not done them any favors anyway.
It definitely levels the playing field for the rest of the teams. That part of it is a good thing if you want to take something good from a bad situation.
There is one thing I think everyone can agree on. When this pandemic is over everyone will be extremely happy.

I got my email as a ticketholder listing my options. If I'm reading it correctly, the league is going to again let two-year ticket holders renew again for another 2 years following the 2022 tournament. So it won't be until at least the 2025 tournament before that lower bowl might be opened up for everyone.

I will add that I'm not surprised that seating isn't being opened up. Not just because that has been the policy for 10+ years running, but because the desire to chase lost revenues is strong. Bad time to be in a business reliant on in person attendance.

Agreed. Even outside of the craziness of the past year, their ticketing policy has always been a sound one, financially speaking. Just not an equitable one.
