North Dakota Game Thread

The Yotes are coming off a grueling pair of matches against a nationally ranked team in Creighton.  One could argue they should have won both matches.

Now they start Summit League play against North Dakota who won a pair of matches in Tulsa against Oral Roberts(both games were 3-2)

The Yotes are figuring things out on the defensive side of things and are beginning to click on offensive.

The Fighting Hawks are lead on offense by Lexi Ahrens and Taylor Riedl average 12 and 10 kills per match respectively.

The Fighting Hawks are avering 1.88 blocks per set led by Alexa Albinson and Lexi Ahrens

The Yotes will need to be on their "A"  Games to get the win here.

After a couple of bad predictions to start the season I will forgo any future predictions and let the Yotes do the talking on the court.

FYI...  The two early losses:  Wichita State is 3-0 on the season and Missiouri State is 6-1  with their only loss comint to Wichita State.

Yes, thanks for the link, kiyoat.  That makes consecutive Sunday afternoons that I've watched volleyball online.  Pretty sure that's the first time in my life I can say that!  We started following these girls halfway thru last season, and they are easy to cheer for.

They are easy to cheer for. USD has one of the best overall Women's Athletics programs in the entire country I would have to imagine.

I watched the whole match. The Yotes were hitting on all cylinders the whole match. Good Serving, passing, setting and hitting. It appears they watched the Creighton tapes as they reduced the serving errors and it showed. Now it is time to get ready for the match tomorrow at 1pm. Go Yotes!!!
